    CG ITI

Government Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) in Chhattisgarh play a vital role in equipping youth with industry-relevant technical skills. Established and managed by the Department of Skill Development, Technical Education and Employment, these institutes aim to provide vocational education and hands-on training to enhance employment opportunities for students, especially from rural and underprivileged backgrounds.

After the formation of the state in the year 2000, Chhattisgarh prioritized skill development as a key driver for socio-economic growth. Today, over 100 government ITIs are operational across the state, including in remote and tribal areas, ensuring widespread access to technical education.

These institutes offer 1 to 2-year certificate courses in both engineering and non-engineering trades such as Electrician, Fitter, Welder, COPA (Computer Operator and Programming Assistant), Mechanic, and Stenography. The curriculum is aligned with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) standards, ensuring uniformity and recognition across India.
